AppBlocker Pro — app control and blocking on the PC, password-protected
Forbids chosen games, browsers and apps from launching. Every setting is protected by an encrypted master password.
Blocking in action
Does this sound familiar?
Kids or employees launch distracting games and social apps — or try to bypass limits with system tools.
Distracting games and apps
Instead of study or work, Steam, Discord, browser games and unwanted third-party software keep launching.
Bypass via system tools
Advanced users try to lift the blocks through Task Manager, the command line or the Registry Editor.
Settings reset and uninstallation
Ordinary parental control can be unloaded from memory or uninstalled without the admin knowing.
How AppBlocker Pro works
Reliable launch control in five simple steps.
- 1Add the .exe files.
Pick apps via the file picker or drag them straight into the window (Drag & Drop).
- 2Switch on system-tool protection.
Lock PowerShell, CMD, Task Manager and Registry Editor with a single checkbox.
- 3Set the master password.
The password is cryptographically hashed and required for any change attempt.
- 4Activate the block.
Windows system policies (DisallowRun) immediately forbid launching the listed executables.
- 5Uninstall protection.
The uninstall module demands the master password, so limits can’t be worked around.
Features
A complete toolkit for controlling which software runs on the PC.
Targeted .exe blocking
Forbid specific programs and games by their executable file name.
Admin tools locked
Powershell, CMD, Task Manager and Registry access is forbidden, killing bypass attempts.
Encrypted master password
Passwords are hashed, and the configuration is protected by Windows DPAPI.
Handy Drag & Drop
Add programs by dragging files or desktop shortcuts into the window.
Uninstall protection
The uninstaller asks for the master password, stopping unauthorized removal.
Offline and fast
Runs locally on Windows 10/11 with no background CPU load, no internet and no cloud.

FAQ
Still have questions? Write to us on Telegram.
How does AppBlocker Pro block programs?
The program writes rules into the Windows system policy (DisallowRun), so the OS refuses to launch the listed .exe files.
Can the block be bypassed via Task Manager or PowerShell?
With system-tool protection enabled, AppBlocker Pro blocks access to Task Manager, Registry Editor, PowerShell and the command line (CMD).
What happens when someone tries to uninstall it?
The uninstaller is protected: it asks for the master password. Without it, the utility cannot be removed.
How many computers does the license cover?
The RUB 1 490 license is lifetime, for one computer. When the PC is replaced, we re-link it free via support.
